Graduation and Future?

Wow. I am finally a college graduate. What is next? Do I have a job? Where do I want to live? So many questions get asked of us when it comes to this point in life, sometimes it is easy to feel like we have it all figured out, but really, that isn’t how it works. The IT I’m referring to is life I suppose, college is a tool to help shape us into the people we want to be, with hopefully some more direction than when we first got there. I feel like I have been so blessed with all of the opportunities and experiences I have had during these last 5 years of undergrad(yes I was part of the 5 year plan). Do I have all the answers to the questions above? Not exactly, but I am pretty stoked for what the future has in store for me.

Graduation came and went, hanging out with friends you might not see for a long while, and just soaking the experience up. I had such an amazing experience at Northwest Nazarene, and would not trade any of it for the world. The community made for such a fun experience, and one that I learned an incredible amount from. Looking forward, I have started graduate school and am preparing to be done with my first quarter of classes. Summer has been flying by as always and it is definitely time for me to get caught up with all my thoughts and focus.

There are so many people that I have to thank for making this journey possible, my coaches, family, friends, and none other than the God himself, I feel so blessed with these opportunities. Everyone is moving out of the house, getting new roommates, this next year will be filled of more school, and coaching! I am pumped for the chance to get to share my love for golf with more people, and I know it will be a great year for the team.

This summer is filled with golf, school, fitness, and work for me. When people ask me what I’m up to, working part time and playing golf does not seem all that professional for a college graduate, but I am still pursuing my dreams with more intensity than ever. The past several years have been filled with golf, and I hope to continue that pathway, but there are a few other things that have my attention as well. School has been challenging, while being on the road, it is difficult to keep up with classes, but I am learning a ton of great new things that will help me grow my business. My outlook has changed a lot in regards to school, and I am actually finding myself enjoying it these days. Grandma always told me I will get a Doctorate degree, I thought she was crazy, but maybe that Gma sixth sense is right…

More thoughts to come,

PEACE
